A tall glass of lemonade is great to St. Patrick’s Day or a refreshing treat on warm days. When you want something a little different or special, it’s easy to give it some pizazz. The Green Lemonade fits the bill perfectly and everyone can enjoy this fun and fruity green mocktail recipe.

  • 4 ounces lemonade
  • 2 ounces limeade (or lime cordial)
  • 4 kiwi slices (peeled)
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • Garnish: kiwi or lime slice

Steps to Make It

  1. Muddle the kiwi and simple syrup in a mixing glass.

  2. Add ice, lemonade, and limeade.

  3. Shake well.

  4. Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.

  5. Garnish with a kiwi slice or lime wedge.

Recipe Variation

  • Optionally, rim the glass with green sugar or salt prior to adding the ice and pouring the drink.
  • You can also add a layer of subtle flavor by using an herb-infused simple syrup (lavender is a favorite).
  • If you like, top it off with sparkling water or your favorite clear soda.
