“We’re proud to bring together this coalition, which consists of important local institutions as well as national partners to provide passengers with a reliable alternative to driving under the influence,” said Elliot Greenberger, Market Manager of Lyft in Southern California. “Whether you are celebrating in the Orange Circle, bar hopping on the Balboa Peninsula, or getting together at a friend’s house, we want everyone to plan ahead with a smart ride during the long weekend and other holidays throughout the year.”

“Our goal is to eliminate DUI-related accidents and fatalities completely,” said Tony Rios, Lieutenant of the Fullerton Police Department. “We encourage locals and tourists to make the responsible choice and utilize smart transportation options when they are heading out and going back home. We thank Lyft for their shared commitment to this goal and the entire Ride Smart Coalition members’ contributions that will truly save lives.”
