Tim is the Director of Training and Education for Recording Artists Against Drunk Driving.  He is a retired police sergeant with over twenty years of experience in law enforcement.  He also regularly teaches at Southwestern College’s Police Academy and Miramar College’s POST-certified supervisor course.  He is a POST Master Instructor and an instructor in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST’s).

Tim created a 24-hour POST course on recruiting and retention in law enforcement.  He has served as a subject matter expert to multiple agencies on this topic and continues to write articles based on his research to assist agencies with their staffing needs.  He is currently dedicated to assisting RADD in its mission to eliminate impaired driving through education and training, focusing primarily on college campuses and military bases.

Tim has a M.A. in Criminal Justice and a certificate in Law Enforcement Administration from Arizona State University.    He has also served on the State Training Committee for the California Police Officer’s Association and Mother’s Against Drunk Driving’s San Diego Walk Like MADD advisory committee.
